From closely working with our clients Safer Neath Port Talbot and Neath Port Talbot Communities First we have developed three products for the community safety sector.
We have branded our community safety products and services with the generic family name of CANDDIS, which is an acronym for
Crime
and Disorder
Information
System. Each of our portfolio products is a sub group of the CANDDIS family.
As a result of the 1998 Morgan Report, government placed a statutory duty on Local Authorities, Police Forces and other public organisations to form Crime & Disorder Partnerships. The Partnership's statutory duty extends to the production of a three-yearly audit. This has provided an opportunity to work with Partnerships and develop new information systems which assist the policy makers and senior managers to collect statistical evidence, which support their actions plans. This drive for new systems is supported by grant opportunities from the Home Office, Regional Government and other funding bodies.
